The THORTM fixed line SMSC (SMSC-F) features a gateway that delivers short messages from a fixed line SMS phone to any receiver. In addition, it includes intelligent fixed line device detection for delivering an SMS to either a legacy phone, an SMS capable phone, a fax machine or an answering machine.
