November 2007: Again SPEECH DESIGN is awarded as HP Business Partner of the year!
On 27th of November Hewlet Packard (HP) announced SPEECH DESIGN Carrier Systems as Business Partner of the year 2007. Like in recent years, the award honours partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa region that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to HP Software and HP com- munications, media and entertainment (CME) business group.
Jan and Robert Martens, who received the award during the HP Communi- cations World in Barcelona, are very pleased. “Especially that we are Business Partner of the year twice in a row is fantastic.” so Managing Director Jan Martens.

January 2007: SPEECH DESIGN Carrier Systems announces win at Vodafone D2 Germany for Call Completion Solution
SPEECH DESIGN Carrier Systems and Hewlett Packard have been selected by Vodafone Germany to implement and deploy a Call Completion solution.
By selecting SPEECH DESIGNs solution Vodafone can offer additional services informing subscribers in situations where the called party missed the call due to being busy or not reachable. These two notifications for the first phase are based on SMS. In the second phase the service “Voicemail to MMS” carrying the voicemail as an audio attachment will be introduced.

December 2006: SPEECH DESIGN becomes HP Software Business Partner of the Year 2006
On December 12th 2006, Hewlett Packard (HP) granted its Software Business Partner of the Year Award 2006 to SPEECH DESIGN Carrier Systems.
June 2006: From your mobile phone straight on TV - powered by SPEECH DESIGN!
The German TV Channel RTL is starting a program "Heimspiel WG" ("Home Match Flatshare") with live transmission of viewer videos which have been recorded and sent with the SPEECH DESIGN video to TV service.
With the service, viewers send a personal video clip to the TV Channel RTL via Video Call. Theme is the Soccer World Cup or the "Task of the Day".
RTL shows the best daily Video Clips, and with a little luck, anyone can become a video star.
How it works: the viewer dials a telephone number and records his or her personal video clip using the Video Call Service and a UMTS mobile phone. The clip is then sent to the TV Channel.

May 2005: SPEECH DESIGN wins the HP Software Channel Excellence Award 2005
On May 10th 2005, Hewlett Packard (HP) granted its Software Channel Excellence Award 2005 to SPEECH DESIGN Carrier Systems for the recent project win of T-Mobile´s new Call Completion service. The solution is based on HP´s OCMP platform and SPEECH DESIGN´s THORTM system and can be used for Call Completion as well as Next Generation Messaging and other innovative telephony and video services. The HP Software Channel Excellence Award 2005 recognises SPEECH DESIGN as HP´s Next Generation Messaging Partner while commending SPEECH DESIGN for a major project breakthrough.

March 2005: World´s largest wireline SMSC - powered by THOR!
By connecting all German mobile operators to its wireline SMSC, T-Com has created one of the largest SMSC installations of any fixed line service provider world-wide.
September 2004: SPEECH DESIGN connects THOR to the HP OCMP Platform
The latest THORTM 5.0 release is now fully integrated into the HP Open Call Media Platform (OCMP). All SPEECH DESIGN applications are now available on this high density carrier grade communication platform. By creating a new Java-OClet running on OCMP, which communicates to the attached THORTM Voice XML servers, a seamless 3-tier architecture is achieved. The connected THOR.NET services, which run on the THORTM application servers, include all functions realizing the communication between the THORTM open API and the personalized information via standard interfaces. With the included THORTM Service Creation Environment, rapid application development is achieved using Visual Studio .NET ® and any .NET based components.

The THORTM Mobile Multimedia Client (MMC) is a handset application provided by SPEECH DESIGN Carrier Systems, which runs on your mobile phone. Using this innovative software, your mobile phone's functions are enhanced by an optimized voice mail and multimedia client.
June 2004: HP and SPEECH DESIGN present SMS-to-Voice-Solution
HP and SPEECH DESIGN, a subsidiary of Bogen Communications International, present a commonly developed SMS-to-Voice solution. The TM-Platform transmits SMS-messages with the aid of a Text-to-Speech-Engine to users of fixed line devices. The system is running successfully at ORANGE FRANCE, TDC, Denmark's leading telecommunication provider and VODACOM, a South African cellular phone network provider.
April 2004: Eicon Networks and SPEECH DESIGN teach T-Com's T-Netbox to speak
The SPEECH DESIGN THOR TM Platform offers new features in the T-Com T-Netbox. The basis of this solution is the Eicon Networks Hardware Platform DIVA Server PRI.
